Wizz Air, announced today new routes from the base of Bucharest: Bucharest - Vienna and Bucharest - Heraklion (Chalk). Passengers can already book tickets at prices starting from 89 RON on wizzair.com or through the mobile app.

With these new flights to Heraklion, Wizz Air offers travel opportunities to Greece at low rates while Vienna it becomes even more accessible, with five weekly flights from the Romanian capital, the fourth city with Wizz Air operations to Vienna, after Cluj-Napoca, Suceava and Constanța, the last one announced in May.

Today's announcement comes as the new era of sanitized travel begins at Wizz Air. The airline recently announced a series of increased hygiene measures, to ensure the health and safety of customers and crew. As part of these new protocols, throughout the flight, both cabin crew and passengers are required to wear masks, the cabin crew also having gloves.

Wizz Air aircraft are regularly subjected to a high-performance nebulisation process with an antiviral solution and, as a result of WIZZ's strict daily cleaning program, all aircraft are disinfected overnight with the same antiviral solution. Each passenger receives at the entrance to the aircraft sanitary napkins, the magazines on board were taken out from the aircraft, and contactless payment is recommended for all purchases on board.
