Wizz Air announces new routes in Italy. Besides nine Wizz Air base in Palermo and the 7 routes related to the base, the Hungarian low-cost carrier also announces 4 new routes in Italy, more precisely from Bologna, Pisa, Milan Malpensa and Catania.

Wizz Air's extensive network will support Italy's economy and connect with increasingly long-awaited destinations. The new domestic routes will allow passengers to travel inside Italy in a sustainable and safe way.

Since 2004, with the first flight operated on the Bergamo route to Katowice, and to date, Wizz Air has carried over 40 million passengers to and from Italy.

Our state-of-the-art aircraft, as well as enhanced protection measures, will ensure the safest possible sanitary conditions for passengers. Wizz Air operates the newest and most economically efficient fleet of aircraft in Europe, with the least environmental impact. The expansion of Wizz Air will give them more tourism opportunities and contribute to the recovery of local economies, especially the return of the tourism industry.
