Wizz Air allocates 5 new planes to the Bucharest base and announces three new routes: Larnaca, Prague and Athens!
Wizz Air announces a major expansion in Romania by allocating 5 new aircraft to the base in Bucharest, reaching a total of 17 aircraft, which will facilitate the increase in operational frequencies and the launch of new routes.
From December 2022, Wizz Air will start flying on the routes Bucharest – Prague, Bucharest – Larnaca and Bucharest – Athens, routes it has flown in the past.

At the same time, Wizz Air has added flights since Friday, September 9. The new aircraft will be assigned from October, which will facilitate increased frequencies on 30 existing routes, including to key destinations such as London, Rome, Milan, Barcelona, Paris, Brussels-Charleroi, Dortmund, Eindhoven, Madrid and Tel Aviv . In total, Wizz Air will add 2,6 million additional seats to the Romanian market.
