The Wizz Air company allocates a new aircraft to the base in Iași. It will join the existing fleet in December 2022, thus increasing the number of aircraft in Iasi to four!

The modern Airbus A321neo aircraft will support operations on three new routes to: Memmingen (Germany), Basel-Mulhouse (Switzerland) and Copenhagen (Denmark).

Ruta Iasi – Copenhagen (Denmark) will debut on December 13. Two weekly flights will be operated, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, according to the schedule:

Wizz Air continues to expand its operations across the network as it allocates more aircraft and recruits flight attendants. With routes throughout Europe, Romanians will be able to travel via these new Wizz Air flights at reduced fares to some of the most important and beautiful destinations in Central and Northern Europe. In addition to these markets, Wizz Air is also increasing the frequency of numerous flights departing from Iasi. Barcelona, ​​Brussels-Charleroi and Eindhoven will be increased to 3 flights per week. The routes to Paris-Beauvais, Venice-Treviso and Tel-Aviv will be increased to 4 flights per week. The routes to Rome-Ciampino and Billund will have a frequency of 5 flights per week. And the Iasi - London-Luton route will be operated 14 times a week.
