Base Wizz Air in Krakow from 1 to 2019 and 12 new routes

Wizz Air today announced the 26 base in Krakow. The company will allocate two Airbus A321 aircraft to the airport in Krakow in May and September 2019. With the launch of the base, Wizz Air also announces 12 new routes to nine countries in Krakow, starting April 2019. Tickets for the new routes can already be booked on wizzair.com or from the mobile app, at prices starting from 19.99 EUR.

In 2019, Wizz Air will allocate 2 Airbus A321ceo aircraft to Krakow. On 1 May 2019, Wizz Air will inaugurate the 26-based network. It will also be the newest in Poland, after Warsaw, Katowice, Gdansk and Wroclaw.

As part of the WIZZ expansion process, the company will continue to expand its operations in Poland to provide passengers with more travel opportunities.

The base in Krakow is a WIZZ investment of 240 million dollars (cost of 2 aircraft) in Poland and creates 80 of new direct jobs within the company.

The two new Airbus A321 aircraft will contribute to the opening of 12 new routes from Krakow, with direct flights to: London, Kiev, Bari, Catania, Larnaca, Nice, Turku, Billund, Doncaster, Kharkiv, Oslo and Kutaisi.
