Wizz Air celebrates 15 years since its first flight, as well as 200 of millions of passengers.
The first Wizz Air flight took place on 19 May 2004, from Katowice to London Luton. Since then, the company's fleet has grown to 112 Airbus aircraft and includes the latest generation of aircraft, including A321neo.

Passengers, who choose to travel on new A321neo aircraft, benefit from the lowest fares thanks to low fuel consumption and 239 seating configuration.

Wizz Air has opened the newest training center in Budapest, with an investment of over 300 million. He opened commercial flights from the newest WIZZ base in Krakow. Other 256 aircraft of the next generation Airbus A321neo are to be part of the WIZZ fleet.
In the 15 years of activity, Wizz Air has gained the confidence and loyalty of 200 millions of passengers. WIZZ reached 100 million passengers in October 2015 and it took less than four years to double that number.
To mark this remarkable achievement, all passengers on the flight from Kiev, Ukraine to Katowice, Poland were greeted on arrival by Wizz Air management and Katowice International Airport. A small party was prepared on the spot and vouchers worth 200 EUR were offered.
