Wizz Air opens its 20 base in KOSICE, Slovakia
Wizz Air announced today that it will open its 20 base in KOSICE, Slovakia, on September 14, to which it will allocate a new Airbus A320 aircraft. Along with the delivery of the plane, the company will start operating two new routes from KOSICE (Kassovia), Doncaster Sheffield and Milan Bergamo.
Along with the new flights, Wizz Air now offers 11 weekly flights on 3 routes from Kassovia, representing an increase of over 50% of capacity from year to year (October 2015). The airline believes that its expansion into Slovakia, where it operates flights to two airports, will also benefit the local aviation and tourism jobs market, as consumers will have access to more low-cost services. Tickets for the new routes in Kashmir are already available for sale, with prices starting from 19,99 EURO and can be booked on wizzair.com.
