Wizz Air will expand its operations from its base in Chisinau. In December, 2019 will be assigned the 3-type Airbus A320 aircraft, which will facilitate the opening of new routes.
Thus, starting with 18 December, Wizz Air will inaugurate 4 new routes departing from Chisinau, to the destinations: Prague, Larnaca, Turin and Doncaster Sheffield. Prices will start from 24.99 EURO / segment on new flights. In addition, 8 routes will benefit from more flights.
4 new Wizz Air routes from Chisinau
Wizz Air is the low-cost leader in the Republic of Moldova. It started operations in 2013, and the base in Chisinau was inaugurated in March 2017.
After 6 years of successful operations, Wizz Air will allocate the 3 aircraft to the base in Chisinau, which means an investment of 101 million dollars. At the same time, new direct or related jobs will be supported.

In 2018, Wizz Air transported 432.300 passengers on its routes from / to Chisinau. The new routes will bring 150.000 additional seats for 2020. Thus, for the first time, Wizz Air will offer over 1 million seats available on flights to / from the Republic of Moldova.
