Wizz Air, the largest airline in Central and Eastern Europe, announced today that due to the extension of travel restrictions imposed on all external flights to and from the Republic of Moldova, the company will in turn extend the suspension of all its flights to and from from the Republic of Moldova until June 14 inclusive.

Passengers with reservations affected by the flight suspension will be automatically notified by email if they have booked directly on wizzair.com or through the mobile app. Customers will automatically receive in the customer account WIZZ 120% of the amount paid for the trip, an amount that can be used over the next 24 months to purchase Wizz Air products and services.

Passengers can choose to reimburse the money - which will take longer - and they will be informed about the steps required for a bank transfer or transfer to a bank card through a separate email. In this case, customers will only be able to receive 100% of the amount paid initially. Passengers who have booked through travel agencies - including online travel agencies - should contact the agency where they purchased their tickets.

Wizz Air apologizes for any inconvenience these travel restrictions may cause to customers and assures them that the safety and well-being of passengers and crew remain the company's top priorities.
