Announced with great fanfare in the summer of 2022, the routes Craiova – Turin and Craiova – Billund they did not live up to expectations. As a result, the two routes will be canceled from May 2023. Flights on the two routes started in December 2022, but for commercial reasons, Wizz Air decided to abandon these flights.
The Craiova – Billund route will continue to be operated until April 24, inclusive, with a frequency of two weekly flights (Monday and Friday). While the Craiova – Turin route will continue to be operated until April 30, with a frequency of two weekly flights (Thursday and Sunday).
Wizz Air continues to adjust its operational schedule from airports in Romania. Wizz Air also canceled flights from Timișoara and Iasi to Santorini, one of the most beautiful islands of Greece. But there will also be new routes that will be flown starting from the 2023 summer season. From March 27, Iasi – Berlin with Wizz Air.
