On September 6, 2019, Wizz Air announced the launch of the 2020 summer program at Romanian airports. Airline tickets are available for travel in the summer 2020 season, and can already be purchased from the company's website - wizzair.com.
WIZZ expands in Romania and permanently adjusts its operational network. In 2019, Wizz Air has already announced 13 new routes, including flights to 2 new airports / destinations - London Southend and Edinburgh.
With these new services, Wizz Air currently offers a total of 147 of routes to 20 of countries from Romania. In the 2020 summer season, Wizz Air has over 670.000 more seats for sale on Romanian routes than 2019, which means an increase of capacity of 6,7% and approximately 3000 of additional flights.

There are also some routes under question. Although Wizz Air has announced the availability of the 2020 summer schedule, the routes Sibiu - Tel Aviv, Constanta - London Luton, Craiova - Tel Aviv, Bucharest - Lamezia Terme and Bucharest - Eilat does not appear in the summer season next year. It is true that some routes are operated seasonally, but we are surprised by the lack of flights from Constanța to London and from Sibiu and Craiova to Tel Aviv.
