Wizz Air, the fastest growing and greenest airline in Europe, has announced that it will offer passengers insurance coverage for COVID-19 as part of its travel insurance package, which is available on wizzair.com through a partnership with insurance provider Chubb.
Wizz Air customers can purchase travel insurance that now covers COVID-19 cancellations and healthcare expenses when traveling abroad.
For example, if I am diagnosed with COVID-19 when traveling abroad and incur additional costs for extended stay or medical expenses for treatment, Wizz Air Travel Insurance will cover this (maximum limit applies).
Or maybe they had to cancel their trip because they were diagnosed with COVID-19 before traveling? Wizz Air travel insurance provides protection. Wizz Air travel insurance also covers lost, stolen or damaged luggage, as well as flight loss. Terms, conditions and exclusions apply.
In addition to travel insurance, Wizz Air offers coverage for independent cancellation in some countries.
