In 2011, TAROM maintained its market share of 22% in Romania, with 2,19 million passengers transported. The market share at Henri Coandă International Airport in Bucharest (Otopeni) was 40%, on the segment of regular and charter flights.
Wizz Air ranked first in Romania
In the segment of domestic regular flights, TAROM registered an increase with 7% compared to the same period of the year 2010, reaching a quota of 84%. The number of passengers increased by 6%, given the increase with 3% of the number of seats offered on these flights.
