Today, 18 July 2016, Wizz Air is an IATA member and it was IOSA certified (Operational Safety Audit). Wizz Air has an excellent safety record.

Since it started operating, in 2004, it has allocated a significant amount of resources and time to ensure that safety procedures and culture, as well as training and team development (of employees) are at the highest level.
The IOSA program is a benchmark in evaluating the safety of air carriers and analyzes the safety management systems and processes for an airline. The Wizz Air audit was conducted by AQS, one of the six organizations approved by IATA.
