Wizz Air resumed flights on the route Budapest - Targu Mures

Today, May 1, 2020, Wizz Air resumed flights on the route Budapest - Târgu Mureș. Thus, Transylvania Airport is among the first airports in Romania where regular passenger flights were resumed.

Until May 15, Wizz Air will operate 3 weekly flights on the Budapest-Targu Mures route, on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. Starting with May 20, there will be flights on Wednesdays, and after June 1, there will be daily flights between Târgu Mureș and the Hungarian capital.

Gradually, Wizz Air will resume flights to all destinations operated from Târgu Mureș Airport before the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Thus, after lifting the restrictions on air flights to destinations in Germany and the United Kingdom, passengers will again have the opportunity to fly to these countries from Transylvania Airport.

Transylvania Airport and WizzAir provide all the hygienic-sanitary conditions for the passengers to be able to travel safely.

According to the military ordinances, all those who come to Romania from an international trip in the yellow zone (Hungary is in the yellow zone), will enter mandatory isolation at home for 14 days.
