Wizz Air today resumed operations at its base in Chisinau. 16 routes from Moldova to some of the most popular countries have been activated, such as: Greece, Italy, Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, Austria, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom. All flights can be booked on wizzair.com or through the mobile app.

To help passengers and crew travel safely and worry-free, Wizz Air has implemented additional hygiene measures to support physical distance during boarding and increased cleanliness on board.

As part of customer and crew health measures, customers should check in and make any online purchases, such as payment for extra luggage, to reduce non-essential interaction at the airport. In an effort to prevent the spread of the virus, passengers are asked to comply with the new rules of physical distance during both embarkation and disembarkation.

While the HEPA filters of all Wizz Air aircraft filter 99,97% of viruses and bacteria from the cabin air, the crew as well as passengers must wear masks throughout the flight.

The cabin crew will distribute sanitation towels to each passenger, while the removal of magazines and the encouragement of contactless payment for onboard purchases are measures introduced to minimize physical contact. On flights where the degree of loading allows, the crew ensures the distance of the seats for the passengers.

To emphasize our commitment to the Moldovan market, Wizz Air announces offer valid today only with a 20% discount of fares on all routes to bookings made on June 15 for Wizz Discount Club members.

Wizz Air reaffirmed that passengers who book low-cost flights to any of the 16 destinations in Moldova will benefit from a 20% discount and can enjoy even lower fares.
