Wizz Air will inaugurate 150 new routes at European level, in the summer season 2020

While most airlines complain about the financial problems due to the pandemic with the new COVID-19, announcing massive layoffs and operational reductions, Wizz Air is preparing to inaugurate 150 new routes at European level in the summer 2020 season.

Since the end of April 2020, Wizz Air has gradually announced the expansion of the operational network, the total number of new routes planned for the summer season 2020 is approaching 150.

New Wizz Air routes from / to Romania, announced for the summer 2020 season

Wizz Air will inaugurate 150 new routes in the summer season 2020

55 new routes will be inaugurated from 3 new bases: Larnaca, Milan Malpensa and Tirana. Plus more routes from Salzburg and Chisinau.

Some announced new routes will also operate during the 2020/21 winter season. The new routes previously announced, scheduled to start between the end of March and the end of May 2020, have been rescheduled to start in June. The new planned routes remain subject to change, pending various travel restrictions.
