Wizz Air will operate flights to Liverpool from Bucharest, Iasi and Cluj
Wizz Air, the largest air carrier in Romania and one of the fastest growing airlines in Europe, announces the launch of a new city break destination, Liverpool, in the United Kingdom, available from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Iasi.
From October 2018, Wizz Air will operate direct flights from Bucharest, Cluj and Iasi to Liverpool. WIZZ Air passengers will have three weekly flights from Bucharest and two from Cluj-Napoca and Iași.
Wizz Air is the only company that will connect Cluj-Napoca and Iași with the legendary English city, at rates starting from only 109 lei / segment. Tickets are already on sale and can be booked on wizzair.com or through the WIZZ application.
Flights to Liverpool from Bucharest, Iasi and Cluj
Liverpool is one of the most popular cities in the UK, home to the Irish Sea, especially known for the performance of football teams, FC Liverpool and FC Everton, and the fact that the legendary The Beatles band was formed there.
With a history of over 700 years, Liverpool has a considerable cultural heritage and hosts, among other things, the largest Anglican cathedral in the UK and the first public library.
Liverpool is the 4 English city on the Wizz Air network, which now offers 144 routes to 22 from countries across Europe and beyond its borders.
In 2018, 24 new routes have already been announced from Romania, to popular destinations such as Athens from Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca, Nice, Lyon or Thessaloniki from Iasi.
Wizz Air operates from ten airports in Romania with a young fleet of 25 flying aircraft, including new and ultra-efficient 5 Airbus A321 seats. The Wizz team consists of more than 230 of local employees.
