Wizz Air will have 10 aircraft based in Bucharest + 2 new routes

Starting with April 2018, Wizz Air will allocate the 10 aircraft to the base in Bucharest and will open 2 new routes. Plus frequency increases on other routes.

Surprisingly, Wizz Air was quick to announce the news for 2018. He chose to do so in a press conference, which took place last week and marked and 30 threshold of millions of passengers transported from / to Romania.

For starters, Wizz Air announced the allocation of an aircraft to the Bucharest base and new routes. Starting with April 2018, Wizz Air will allocate the 10 to the Bucharest base, which will allow it to open new 2 routes and increase frequencies on other routes. The aircraft allocated will be of the type A321ceo, the 5 assigned to the Romanian fleet, which will be configured in a class with 230 seats.

The new routes will be Bucharest - Nice (France) (April 14, 2018) and Bucharest - Gothenburg (Sweden) (April 15, 2018).

At the same time, the new aircraft will allow to increase the frequencies on several popular WIZZ Air routes in Bucharest, as part of the 2018 summer program. In total, there are over 4,2 million places available on the Bucharest routes, up 23% from last year and an evolution that supports 3.100 (directly and indirectly) jobs locally.
