Update April 27: Military Ordinance 10 - flights remain suspended until May 14 inclusive

Initial news: During the state of emergency, which was established in Romania since March 16, 2020 and extended on April 14, over 90% of commercial flights were suspended by military decrees. According to the military ordinance 9, all flights to red zone countries were suspended until early May.

Wizz Air continued to fly to Norway, Denmark and Sweden, countries outside the red zone. And from May 1, if the flight suspension periods are not extended, Wizz Air will resume its activity to most destinations in Europe. Obviously, everything will be done gradually and only in accordance with government decisions.

Tickets can be booked on the Wizz Air website. But ATTENTION !!! Before traveling to / from these destinations, check the travel conditions in those countries. You must also take into account the fact that these flights can be canceled at any time, depending on the evolution of the pandemic with the new coronavirus and the governmental decisions in Romania and in the other countries.

We are optimistic, but at the same time realistic. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, we are reluctant when it comes to flights to / from Italy and are reluctant when it comes to flights to Spain. Travel responsibly! We are also waiting to see the new travel conditions, which will be imposed by the authorities for social distancing.
