World ATM Congress 2022: 200 exhibitors from 134 countries attracted 7900 participants!

Between June 20 and 22, I was present at the World ATM Congress 2022. The event took place at IFEMA Feria de Madrid (Recinto Ferial - IFEMA MADRID). According to the organizers, the ninth edition of the World ATM Congress was the largest in the history of the event. The 202 exhibitors from 134 countries managed to attract over 7900 participants.

More than 165 conferences were organized, attended by more than 200 aviation industry experts.

The partnership between the World ATM Congress and Expodrónica brought for the first time a drone event in Spain. The Expondrónica Pavilion hosted 60 exhibitors who offered participants the opportunity to interact with experts in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), UAS Traffic Management (UTM), autonomous and remotely piloted air vehicles (AAV / RPAS) and other drone-related services. or AAM.

The congress ended on Thursday night at the nearby Cuatro Vientos airport. Spain's oldest airport has served as the location for some of the latest aviation technology, with 10 drone demonstrations sharing the airport's active airspace with civilian and military aircraft. The evening event, entitled "Sky of the Future", ended with a light show supported by 200 drones that flew in formation.
