WOW has rented 2 Airbus A321 for transatlantic flights

WOW Air, low-cost operator from Iceland, has rented 2 Airbus A321 for transoceanic flights. The aircraft are scheduled to be received in mid-March and will operate transatlantic flights between Reykjavik and two destinations in the United States: Boston (NOVEMBER March NOVEMBER) and Washington (NEVER NEXT).

Airbus A321 is the largest model in the A320 family and the largest single-aisle aircraft in the category. The 2 A321-200 (WL) are taken from VEB-Leasing and will have the signs (TF-MOM and TF-DAD). WOW Air chose to configure the aircraft in a class with 200 seats. They will be powered by two CFM56 engines, and the wingtips will be equipped with Sharklets.

The routes will be operated according to the programs:

Reykjavik - Boston - TUESDAY MARCH 27
WW125 KEF 15: 35 - 17: 50 BOS 32S x6
WW126 BOS 18: 55 - 04: 05 + 1 KEF 32S x6

Reykjavik - Washington - since May 8, 2015
WW117 KEF 15: 30 - 17: 55 BWI 32S x26
WW118 BWI 19: 25 - 05: 10 + 1 KEF 32S x26
