According to some statements made by officials TAROM, the airline will operate an additional humanitarian flight for approximately 100 passengers. A Boeing 737 aircraft with a capacity of 131 seats will be used.
The flight was requested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and received approval from the Turkish authorities. It is a flight dedicated to Romanian passengers, who had tickets to other airlines.
TAROM humanitarian flight
To benefit from this flight, passengers must contact the MAE Crisis Unit at Ataturk Airport and request repatriation. RO2264 flight is scheduled for 02: 15 (time for which the flight corridor was granted by the Turkish local authorities), taking off from Istanbul. The cost of this flight is insured from the MAE fund.
TAROM recommends that passengers contact the team at the G17 gate, in the check-in area or in the transit area, near the central information desk (near Cafe Nero and Old Bazaar Store).
