Wizz Air flight W6 3141, from today, 8 June 2013, from Bucharest to Rome Ciampino, which had 165 passengers on board and 6 crew members, was redirected to Rome Fiumicino airport for emergency landing due to a problem with the landing gear.

The aircraft was safely grounded at 8: 15, and passengers were disembarked using the exit slides. The crew and passengers did not report injuries, the passengers being assisted by the company. There may have been some scratches, maybe scratches, but research is still underway.

Following an update to the initial release, we learn that medical assistance was provided to passengers who appeared to be in shock, and were then released from medical observation.

Wizz air and Airbus cooperate with investigating authorities. The Airbus A320 (HA-LWM) aircraft involved is 13 months old, and the latest technical inspection, according to the regulations, carried out by Lufthansa Technik took place in May 2013.

All crew members (4 flight attendants and 2 pilots) are based in Bucharest. The captain has 12.000 hours of flight experience accumulated within the Italian Air Force and other commercial companies.
