Airplanes at Schiphol International Airport, Amsterdam, cannot be refueled due to a power failure.

The Aircraft Fuel Supply company, responsible for fueling the aircraft, has a technical problem with the fuel system.

Hundreds of flights have already been canceled or delayed, especially those departing from Amsterdam. It is not yet known when the problem will be remedied, but it is certainly not very soon.

Airport representatives in Amsterdam and Aircraft Fuel Supply are looking for alternative solutions to the problem.

According to flightradar24.com, there are no flights from Amsterdam at this time. Even the flights operated by KLM, on the Amsterdam - Bucharest - KL1375 / KL1375 route, were canceled. While the flight operated by TAROM in the direction of Bucharest - Amsterdam - RO363 - was diverted to Rotterdam. And the return will be over 2.5 hours late. Also affected is the flight KLM KL1379, in the direction of Amsterdam - Bucharest. At this moment, the priority is long-haul flights.
