After 10 years, British Airways resumed flights to Islamabad, Pakistan. The British carrier has opened a local office in Islamabad to serve local passengers.

On the inaugural flight, which took place on 3 June 2019, was Andrew Brem, the commercial director of British Airways. The flight was operated with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
