Zsolt "Popey" Sinka in partnership with Wizz Air for a new world record
Wizz Air celebrates the new world record set in partnership with Zsolt "Popey" Sinka, in the category of "the heaviest aircraft pulled with teeth". Today at 10:25, Zsolt "Popey" Sinka stuck his teeth into a 7m long rope and pulled one of the newest Wizz Air A320 aircraft, which weighs over 50 tons.
Zsolt "Popey" Sinka was encouraged by Wizz Air employees, those at Budapest Airport and the most beautiful members of the Wizz Air crew. The athlete managed to walk with his back to 39.2m in 52 seconds, pulling the 180-seat aircraft. The world record result has been certified by the Hungarian Records Committee and will be sent to Gusiness judges to be added to the Guinness Book of Records.
According to the official report of the Budapest Airport, the air temperature had a value of 31.1C, on the asphalt level being 43.3C.
Speaking at the post-event press conference, Zsolt "Popey" Sinka said:
"I am overwhelmed by today's record result and I am excited that I have managed to reach a new goal. Teaming up with Wizz Air, another success story, was the best decision to make this day unforgettable and to have my own command of an Airbus for 52 seconds, over almost 40 meters! ”
Daniel de Carvalho, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air, was very joking in his statements:
"Wizz Air congratulates Zsolt for the heaviest toothed aircraft. This has shown that the ground movements of a fuel-consuming aircraft can be done through muscle strength. We are very happy for this success and will discuss plans to hire Zsolt to train the ground crew that can save us millions by pulling the 44 aircraft with our teeth at the 94 airports we operate. In the spirit of affordable tariffs, Zsolt could open the door to a groundhandling revolution. ”
