Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) will include Singapore in its network of routes starting from 12 to 2013. The new destination for long-distance travel and, at the same time, one of the main business hubs in Asia, will receive daily flights from Zurich with A340 aircraft.

Singapore is one of the main economic hubs in Asia. The city-state is not only a global financial and commercial center, but also the headquarters of companies from industries such as manufacturing, advanced technologies, biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry.

Singapore is also among tourists' favorite destinations, being an ideal final location or stopover to holiday destinations such as Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. In addition, as regards the freight segment, the new non-stop services on the Zurich-Singapore route offer considerable potential and potential.

For flights on the new route, SWISS will allocate A340-300 aircraft with the capacity of 219 seats. The new flights mark the reintegration of the city-state into the SWISS network: Singapore was on the list of destinations from the company's founding until the spring of 2009, the previous route passing through Bangkok.
