airBaltic and TAROM have extended a codeshare agreement for the 2017-2018 season
From October 29 2017, airBaltic and TAROM have expanded their partnership on several routes across Europe.
In aviation, code-sharing between airlines is widely practiced. The codeshare agreement is practiced between 2 or several airlines. This means that an airline operates flights on a certain route, and the partners can trade air tickets under their own indications on those flights.

In this case, airBaltic and TAROM have extended the codeshar to several routes in Europe. airBaltic will be able to sell plane tickets on the routes operated by TAROM: Bucharest - Munich and Bucharest - Paris.
In the image we have a simulation on the route Bucharest - Vilnius and return. As you can see, airBaltic uses the codes BT5644 and BT5648 for flights operated by TAROM.
Instead, TAROM will be able to sell air tickets on airBaltic flights: Tallinn - Amsterdam; Tallinn - Paris CDG; Vilnius - Amsterdam; Vilnius - Munich; Vilnius - Paris CDG.
