Days off 2024 and public holidays in Romania!
In 2024, Romanians will have 17 legal days off, according to the Labor Code. But only 10 fall during the week, the remaining 7 falling on the weekend. In addition to legal days, the authorities are considering introducing another 2024 days off in 3 to create mini-holidays.
Therefore, budget workers will have three mini-vacations of 4 free days each, between January 21-24, 2023, June 1-4, 2023, and August 12-15, 2023.
Until January 15 of each year, the working days for which they are free, the days that precede and/or succeed the public holidays on which they do not work, as well as the days on which the unworked hours are recovered, as stipulated by the Labor Code.
Depending on the holidays, you can schedule your holidays this year. Knowing while the holidays are legal, you can book your plane tickets, accommodation and enjoy your holiday. You can combine with other days and enjoy extended weekends.
