Airlines increase frequencies and announce new routes from Milan to Bergamo

Following the historic reception of the first easyJet aircraft at Milan Bergamo Airport on May 28, the airline - which is also the airport's new partner - has confirmed the growth of its national and international network in Lombardy. In addition to the previously launched routes to Olbia and Malaga, the low-cost airline has announced remarkable new routes to Amsterdam Schiphol and Paris Charles de Gaulle, starting with September 6th.



Flights to Amsterdam will be operated three times a week, and flights to Paris CDG will be operated four times a week. EasyJet passengers will benefit from a total of 70 connections to the main hubs in the two countries.

The winter season 2021-2022 will continue to develop the operations of Milan Bergamo Airport, with the arrival of its most recently confirmed partner, Eurowings. The Lufthansa subsidiary will introduce a new inaugural route, with Düsseldorf, from 31 October 2021. Initially, the service will be operated four times a week, but the German carrier will increase the frequency to six weekly flights, until February 2022.

Airlines continue to resume services at the Lombardy gateway, with the largest return being Blue Panorama, which has returned to its network. Since the beginning of July, the Italian airline has resumed operations to Lampedusa, flights that are operated twice a week, the company increasing the frequency of flights to the Mediterranean island for customers flying from Milan Bergamo airport.

From July 1, RYANAIR has started operating flights from Oradea to Bologna (Italy), Dusseldorf Weeze (Germany), London Stansted (UK) and Milan Bergamo (Italy).
