Ed Force One ended his mission with Iron Maiden

With the operation of the flight to Gothenburg from 16 June 2016, Boeing 747-400 (TF-AAK) officially completed its mission. The band's vocalist, Bruce Dickinson, took "goodbye" from the plane he piloted for 5 on Monday, during the 2016 World Tour. Has visited 45 of cities on 6 continents, totaling flights over 123 000 kilometers.

He has flown to the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Chile and to China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. The longest flight was on the route Los Angeles - Tokyo Haneda, lasting 11: 24 hours. The shortest flight in the tournament was on the Oslo - Gothenburg route, only 36 minutes.
Following the completion of the mission with Iron Maiden, Boeing 747-400 (TF-AAK) "Ed Force One" also operated 2 charter flights on the Reykjavik-Marseille route. It carried 350 of Icelandic fans for the Iceland - Hungary match, which took place on 18 in June.
Currently, Boeing 747-400 (TF-AAK) has arrived in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The aircraft will be reconfigured and receive a normal livery. It will continue to operate charter flights on behalf of Air Atlantic.
