The Ministry of Finance and Economy in Adjara / Batumi presented the start of a project to build and launch 4 hotels with all-inclusive services. As expected, the launch of 1055-room hotels will become an engine of tourism development on the Black Sea coast of Georgia and will compete with similar facilities in Turkey.

Forbes.ge writes that Georgia has taken over the development of its Black Sea resorts on the Turkish model. The construction of a new all-inclusive hotel complex is underway in the elite suburb of Batumi – Gonio under the international brands Wyndham Grand and Wyndham Grand Residences. These are the elite brands of the global hotel chain Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world leader in terms of the number of hotels (9300 hotels in 153 countries).

The complex will be served by the largest international management company Aimbridge Hospitality (1500 hotels under management, mainly in the luxury segment). Aimbridge Hospitality completed its merger with the international company InterState in 2022.

The hotel business giant will offer tourist packages in the region through partnerships with international tour operators. The tourist volume at the Wyndham Grand hotel complex in Gonio will be 400.000 people.

The hotel complex is designed for year-round recreation, for which it is equipped with a record infrastructure for Georgia of 75 facilities (SPA, restaurants, water areas, bars, children's centers, etc.) on 15.000 m2. Physiotherapy clinics have a special place in the infrastructure of the complex, which makes it possible to synthesize all-inclusive with the direction of medical tourism.

The project has already attracted the attention of several investors from Israel, the EU and the Gulf countries, as the number of rooms is available for private investment in the sale and purchase format.
