Update March 1, 2024: "Wizz Air confirms that flight 4115 from Belgrade to Barcelona on 29 February received an anonymous threat regarding an explosive device on board as it was preparing for take-off. The aircraft immediately returned to an isolated position at Belgrade Airport, where all passengers and crew members were safely evacuated. Passengers were transported to the terminal and offered refreshments. The relevant authorities carried out the necessary checks, established protocols and confirmed that it was a false threat. The flight was rescheduled for March 1, and the passengers were provided with accommodation for one night. The safety and security of passengers and crew remains Wizz Air's top priority. "

A Wizz Air Airbus A320 aircraft scheduled to operate a flight between Belgrade and Barcelona this evening was evacuated via the emergency chutes after an anonymous bomb threat. The aircraft was beginning its take-off preparations. 

According to initial reports, all passengers were safely evacuated and police and emergency services secured the aircraft and the surrounding area. All flights are redirected to Timișoara, as Belgrade airport remains closed. Operations will resume at 22.30:XNUMX CET.
