From December 7, Etihad Airways will operate direct flights from Abu Dhabi to China's capital, Beijing. There will be a weekly flight every Monday. Although flights will be resumed shortly, the route does not yet appear in the Etihad Airways booking system.
Etihad Airways will operate with Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft: 8 seats in First Class, 22 seats in Business Class and 195 seats in Economy Class.
Etihad resumed flights between Abu Dhabi and Shanghai at the end of July. This has helped meet the high demand of travelers from the UAE, China and other countries in the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
With this new flight to Beijing added to the global Etihad network, the airline becomes the only carrier in the MENA region that operates non-stop passenger flights departing from both Shanghai and Beijing.
