In March 2024, Brașov-Ghimbav International Airport registered over 10.000 passengers, the highest figure since the beginning of the year. At the same time, the airport also reported 143 aircraft movements.
In February 2024, there were 9544 passengers and 142 aircraft movements, respectively 8249 passengers and 128 aircraft movements in January 2024.
Also in March, more precisely on March 10, 2024, the 100.000th passenger passed through the gates of Brașov-Ghimbav International Airport! Georgiana Moroșan from Brașov, who arrived from Dortmund on the WIZZ AIR aircraft with her husband and two children, had the chance to be the 100.000th passenger, being greeted by the officials who made possible the existence and especially the operation of the youngest and most modern airport of Romania.
