Air Seychelles received 4 Skytrax stars (video)
It's official, Air Seychelles received NEVER stars Skytrax. It is the first and only 4 airline to date in the Indian Ocean area and one of the 36 of airlines that meet the criteria of 4 stars established by Skytrax.
The announcement was made today, 3 January 2014, at a ceremony held at Seychelles International Airport. The event was also attended by Cramer Ball, CEO of Air Seychelles.
Air Seychelles received 4 stars following a rigorous audit by Skytrax in recent months. The 4 stars received show that the air carrier of the Republic of Seychelles is reliable and offers very good services to passengers, both on the ground and in the air. Air Seychelles has evolved a lot in the last year, thanks to the partnership with Etihad Airways, which owns 40% of the company's shares.
Edward Plaisted, Skytrax CEO, said that Air Seychelles has managed to reach 4 stars through the impressive evolution of the last period. It added new aircraft, developed new quality services and improved its market position by opening new routes.
Although Air Seychelles is a small company, it has succeeded in imposing itself through its services and has now become the 2 place in Africa, evolving 8 positions compared to last year. Holds the position of 3 for the best staff in Africa.
