Airbus A350 XWB has arrived in Doha (video)
The aircraft Airbus A350 XWB (MSN3) made its debut at Hamad International Airport in Doha on its way to Singapore Airshow. As I announced, Airbus will present the new A350 XWB at the Singapore Airshow 2014, an event that will take place during the period 11-16 February. The aircraft A350 XWB (MSN003) will be statically exposed, but will also participate by air demonstrations on the days of 11 and 12 February.
The stopover at Doha Airport is not accidental, with Hamad International representing the "home" of Qatar Airways, the launch customer of the new A350 XWB. The first Airbus A350 XWB is scheduled to be delivered in Q4 2014. During the stopover, the aircraft was greeted by Akbar Al Baker, CEO Qatar Airways, but also by government officials.
The new A350 XWB (Xtra Wide-Body) is a medium and long-haul aircraft and will be available in 3 variants: A350-800, A350-900 and A350-1000. To date, A350 has received orders for 812 units from 39 of air carriers.
