The airline Air France warns that an organized strike at service providers at several French airports, including Paris CDG and Orly, he provoked operational disruptions on Wednesday and Thursday, especially during pre-departure checks.

For June 8, Air France plans to maintain its flight schedule. However, air traffic delays and disruptions are expected. For Thursday, June 9, due to a social movement of some employees of Paris Aéroport, the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC) asked airlines to-reduces the flight schedule with departure and arrival at Paris-CDG.

Air France states: “To limit any inconvenience, we encourage you to check in online, anticipate your arrival at the airport and go to the boarding hall as soon as you leave your luggage. Our teams at the airport and in our customer service centers are mobilizing and doing their best to support you. ” Paris Aéroport in turn suggests that passengers arrive 3 hours before the international flight takes off (2 hours for the others), with long waiting times for inspections.

The strike will, of course, affect all airlines, but also other airports, such as the one in Carcassonne-South of France, where a CGT representative explained in L'Indépendant that Wednesday's strike mainly affects check-in offices and the security service.
