On April 28, the Boeing 737-800 aircraft from Ryanair, registered SP-RKG, operated flight FR4210 to Billund. She landed at her destination at 14:51, not before being escorted by F16 Royal Danish Air Force Quick Reaction Alert planes. A bomb alert had been reported on board.
After landing, the aircraft was greeted police, firefighters and dogs trained to find bombs. Southeast Jutland police say it was the Danish air traffic service Naviair that made the decision to make the emergency landing at Billund Airport, which was also the final destination of the aircraft.
