On 12 March 2015, I wrote to AirlinesTravel about a promotion KLM, which included great rates for Bogota and Cali, Columbia! Officially, KLM has started operating flights to the two destinations, on 28 March 2015, after a break of 20 years on the market in Columbia.
Ruta Amsterdam - Bogota - Cali - Amsterdam will be honored with 3 weekly flights aboard a Boeing 777-200. The flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays following the following schedule:
KL745 flight: Amsterdam 12:30 - 16:25 Bogota 18:15 - 19:15 Cali 20:35 - 14: 15 + 1 Amsterdam
The hours are local and taken from the KLM reservation system. Rates start from 554 EURO!
According to Pieter Elbers, President & CEO of KLM, more than 60 passengers will enjoy the new open route between Amsterdam and Colombia.
As mentioned above, KLM flew to Colombia. From October 1992 until March 1995, KLM has operated flights to the Colombian capital. With the addition of the new service to Bogotá and Cali, KLM now serves eleven destinations in Latin America and has expanded the network to a total of 67 of intercontinental destinations.
