Wizz Air announced the 41st network to open in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Wizz Air will allocate an Airbus A320 aircraft at Sarajevo Airport in May 2021.

The history of Wizz Air in Bosnia and Herzegovina dates back to May 2013, when the first plane took off from Tuzla to Malmö. The airline has carried almost 3 million passengers to and from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the last 8 years.
As part of the WIZZ expansion, the airline continues to increase its operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina by 50% and remains the market leader. The airplane Airbus A320 will support the operations of nine new routes by Brussels Charleroi, Copenhagen, Dortmund, Eindhoven, Gothenburg, London Luton, Memmingen, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (Euroairport), Paris Beauvais, totaling over 250.000 seats sold from Sarajevo in 2021.
