Most of the airlines operating from/to Romania have chosen to celebrate Black Friday in American style. In fact, they chose the week preceding the Americans' "Black Friday" discount celebration, which is today, November 25, 2022. Thus, Wizz Air put 3 million tickets on sale with a 25% discount.
The promotion is valid on November 25, 2022, from 00:00 to 23:59 CET ("Promotional Period 1"). The promotion means 25% discount on rates. The 25% discount applies to rates but does not include the administration fee.
During the Promotion Period, the indicated number of seats (3.000.000) at a reduced price is only valid for selected flights available on the website wizzair.com and in the WIZZ mobile app. The travel period is limited, specifically from January 9 to April 1, 2023.
ATTENTION! The Black Friday offer does not mean low prices either, but a 25% discount on the existing ticket price on the date you want to travel in accordance with the campaign rules.
For example, if you choose to travel Bucharest - Athens between January 13, 2023 and January 18, 2023, the ticket price will be 168.5 lei. The 25% discount is applied from the original price of the flight, which is 59 lei, to which is added the administration fee of 40 lei.
