Boeing delivered the 50 aircraft to EL AL

On 12 March 2015, Boeing and THE AL celebrated the delivery of the aircraft with the number 50, an important threshold in the collaboration between the two companies. This is an aircraft Boeing 737-900ER Next-Generation, the 5th of the 8 ordered in the period 2011 - 2013.

The partnership between Boeing and EL AL began in 1961, with the delivery of the first Boeing 707-420 aircraft. The air operator in Israel has expanded, and currently owns an all-Boeing fleet: 21 of 737 aircraft, 7 jumbo jet 747, six 767 aircraft and as many as 777.

Boeing 737-900ER NG aircraft under EL AL colors have a range of up to 5990 Km and can carry up to 172 of passengers in a configuration with 2 classes: 16 seats in Business Class and 156 seats in Economy Class. New aircraft benefit from Boeing Sky interior.
