From May 15, the obligation to wear the mask outside is eliminated and the night restrictions will be removed
President Klaus Iohannis announced that the first stage of easing the restrictions will take place this weekend. It is about giving up the outdoor mask, with a few exceptions such as bus stations, markets, fairs and other crowded areas. At the same time, traffic restrictions will be lifted at night. A meeting of the National Committee for Emergency Situations will take place tomorrow, followed by a meeting of the Government, to approve the calendar of relaxation measures.
From May 15, the obligation to wear a mask on the outside is eliminated
"We have prepared a calendar with relaxation measures, which includes the entire summer period, we are preparing for relaxation. But we do not want to relax in June, to return to restrictions in August. We will have a step-by-step relaxation, the relaxations are conditioned by the evolution of the pandemic and the degree of vaccination", Said Klaus Iohannis in a press statement, quoted by digi24.ro.
Also this weekend, traffic restrictions are lifted at night, the president said. Commercial agents will no longer have a limited schedule either.
We will return tomorrow with the official information approved following the meeting of the National Committee for Emergency Situations.
