Starting with 1 June 2014, Qatar Airways will fly to Miami. This decision is not surprising given that Qatar's air carrier will join oneworld and have a codeshare relationship with American Airlines. Route Doha Miami will be honored with four weekly flights on board aircraft Boeing 777-200LR (Longer Range). This will be one of the longest passenger routes operated by the plane, with a distance of approximately 13200 km.
Miami will be the 6 US destination to operate Qatar Airways, currently flying to New York JFK, Washington DC, Houston and Chicago, and from April the 11th it will also open the route to Philadelphia.
The official announcement will be made tomorrow, and we will keep you updated with information on this route.

QR777 DOH 08:40 - 17:20 MIA 77L - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
QR778 MIA 21:15 - 18: 20 + 1 DOH 77L - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
