Etihad Airways announced the first destinations to fly with Airbus A380 and introduced the new classes

Etihad Airways, the national airline of United Arab Emirates, announced the first destinations to which the first Airbus A380 aircraft will fly.

The first Airbus A380 of Etihad Airways will fly on the route Abu Dhabi - London Heathrow, from 27 December to 2014. The second superjumbo will also enter this route, but from Q1 2015. By the end of 2015, Etihad Airways will have 5 A380 in the fleet and intends to introduce them on existing routes, especially where there is demand to supplement capacity, such as Sydney and New York JFK.

Etihad Airways has 10 aircraft Airbus A380 ordered, they will be delivered after the program: 1 in 2014, 4 in 2015, 3 in 2016 and 2 in 2017.

aircraft DO NOT Etihad Airways will be able to carry up to 498 passengers, being configured in 4 classes: 2 seats in the VIP "apartments" - The Residence, 9 seats in the "apartments" First Class (arrangement 1-1), 70 seats in Business Class (accommodation 1 -2-1) and 417 in Economy Class (arrangement 3-4-3).
