The Bulgarian Ministry of Health has approved a directive with new health measures

Managers of all Bulgarian administrations must organize the work process, setting the working hours with variable limits and the beginning of the working day between 7.30 and 10. They are also required to remotely assign at least 50% of the staff, unless in which, depending on the nature of the work, this is not possible.

These directives are mentioned in the Order issued by the Minister of Health Dr. Stoycho Katsarov. "In this way, the flow of passengers in urban and interurban transport throughout the country will be significantly reduced, which facilitates both compliance with anti-epidemic measures and the implementation of effective health control.", said the minister.

The order also stipulates that all employers and authorities, where possible, organize the work process remotely, allowing a maximum of 50% of employees to work from the office.

According to the same order, in order to comply with the imposed epidemic restrictions, the limitation to 50% capacity of certain sites or events may not be applied, provided that:

  • 100% of the staff at that event have been vaccinated
  • suffered from COVID-19
  • may show a negative result obtained after performing a PCR test not older than 72 hours before entering the site.

This must be certified by a document.

To this end, the site manager or event organizer must have made a decision and set up a department to admit people who have been vaccinated, have recovered from COVID-19 infection, or have a negative outcome. PCR test.
