The new travel rules from Great Britain to Romania, updated on October 6!

On October 6, the new travel conditions from Great Britain to Romania were updated. According to the new government decisions adopted by the Romanian authorities, the United Kingdom remains in the red zone.

In these conditions, people over 18 years can travel from the UK to Romania without COVID-19 test. Children between 12 and 16 years old they need negative PCR test to avoid quarantine. Children aged 16 to 18 years do not need COVID test and they will be quarantined for 14 days if they are not vaccinated. Children under 12 do not need a test and will not stin quarantine.

People vaccinated with both doses (and 10 days after the booster) or those who have gone through the disease are exempt from caratin. People who will stay in the country for up to 72 hours are also exempt from quarantine, provided they present a negative PCR test.

The quarantined ones can get out of isolation faster. Specifically, if PCR is tested on day eight and the test is negative, they will come out of isolation on day 10.
