RYANAIR opens its base in Billund in the winter season 2021-2022, including flights to Sibiu

Ryanair announced today (May 05) a new base in Billund, which will have two aircraft allocated. According to the RYANAIR booking system, 69 weekly flights will be operated, on a total of 26 routes, including 16 new connections to a number of international destinations in Europe. The base will be open at the beginning of the winter season 2021-2022.

Among the new destinations announced with the new base, there is also Sibiu. As of November 1, 2021, RYANAIR will operate two weekly flights on the route Sibiu - Billund, Denmark. Other new destinations: Seville; Brussels; Tallinn; Wroclaw; Memmingen; Gothenburg.

This new base represents a $ 200 million investment and will provide enhanced connectivity, playing a key role in the recovery of Denmark's jobs and local economy.

Tourists, as well as citizens of the Billund region, can plan their next trips until March 2022. Until May 9, RYANAIR has put on sale tickets starting from DKK 149 for bookings booked until the end of the winter season.
